Parks  – Ruapehu District

There are a number of parks in the Ruapehu District including Mount Ruapehu, Tongariro National Park including the Tongariro Alpine Crossing (42nd Traverse), Whanganui National Park, The Bridge to Nowhere and numerous local parks in public ownership or in private land (to which we may be able to organise access). In fact you could say that the whole area is a wonderful park.

The parks are blessed with bush, cycle and walking tracks, mountains, rivers for canoeing kayaking or jet boating, picnic spots or just the enjoyment of peace and quiet in beautiful scenic areas.
